  • Specific tasks you need assistance with

All documents can be submitted via:

Once your application is complete, our team will review it and get back to you as soon as possible. Please keep in mind that we are a small organization with no waiting list, so it may take a few weeks to respond to your application.

Training and Bonding with your dog

Once approved, we move onto our unique brand of service dog training.

MHSD is practitioner of the Bond-Based Choice Teaching model. This unique methodology focuses on developing a mutually-beneficial relationship with the dog and handler. The training is focused more on positive affirmation and less on over-correction.

MHSD are Colorado’s only certified provider of this unique style of training.

Cost

MHSD invests a great deal of time and energy into training our dogs so that they meet your needs. One of our fully-trained service dog costs $10,000 for veterans and $20,000 for non-veterans. A deposit of $1,500 is required. Remaining balances can be paid in monthly installments for up to 24 months.
