What We Train Service Dogs For (and What We Don’t)

At Mountain High Service Dogs, our professional trainers use Bond-Based Choice Teaching, a time-tested and well-respected training method.

Individual dogs are as unique as their owners, so our trainers take extra time to understand the dogs distinct personality. Through our highly-personalized service dog training program, our dogs are successfully trained to handle the following conditions:

We Train Service Dogs For:
  • Anaphylaxic allergies (e.g. peanuts, soy, dairy, etc.)
  • Autism
  • Epilepsy and seizures
  • Diabetes
  • Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)

With our service dogs fully prepared to spring into action during your moment of crisis, our training becomes literally a matter of life and death for our clients.

What We Do Not Train For:

There are several services that we do NOT provide, including:

  • Seeing Eye dog training
  • Retail sale of service dogs vests (we can make recommendations)
  • Training specifically banned aggressive breeds, including Pitbulls

We review all situations on a case-by-case basis, so please contact us so we can learn about your unique circumstances.
